I'm glad I found your forum! I have so many questions to ask.
I own a small condominium in an urban neighborhood in the United States, and for some time now I've been planning to move across the country. I couldn't imagine selling a home in the current economy. Still, last night there was an armed robbery at a business directly across the street from my front door, so I'm feeling some real pressure to move my departure date up by several months.
I want to hire a property management company because there's no way I can do it myself from 3000 miles away. How would I go about finding a good company? This is very new territory for me, so I'm not exactly sure what questions to ask, or what the going rate is. I want a company that provides full service, so I can forget all the details and simply receive the rent checks.
